Sikkim has been declared India’s fifth fully literate state after achieving a 99.82% literacy rate under the Ministry of Education’s ULLAS initiative. This milestone, driven by 4,000 volunteer teachers, was announced by CM Prem Singh Tamang in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu.
